Acclaimed international figures of design will be participating in TDF. Here are some of the names:

América Sánchez. Graphic designer, photographer and image pedagogue. He is specialized in corporate identification for companies and institutions and in graphical identification for exhibitions and special events. He combines his activity of graphic designer with an intense labour of investigation and experimentation in other areas of image such as photography or photomontage. |

El Último Grito. Design studio formed by Rosario Hurtado and Roberto Feo. El Último grito define themselves “as a way of thinking that can materialize in a multitude of different forms”. For them the idea is the most important element of their designs. Inspiration for their works can come from experimenting with tactile properties or from engineering of diverse materials, or with the daily routines like rolling a newspaper, for example.

Harry & Camila. Design studio that is known for their mysterious objects and effervescent examples of 21st century design. The futurist shapes are reminiscent of technologies applied for high speed; the imagery of their drawings reminds us of aeronautical performance, with fantastic aircraft wings, space travel and ships. The result is design based on the experimentation with materials and topologies.

Héctor Serrano. His activities include the design of products, spaces, communication and laboratory. Serrano carries out multidisciplinary work, de-contextualising a form or a process, turning mundane objects to immaculate ones, with a clear functionality and a familiarity with fun. He has developed many projects for different kind of companies and institutions.

Martín Azúa. Nowadays, he collaborates as a designer with different companies, an activity that he combines with experimental work and research that has been exhibited in individual and collective exhibitions. His projects have been published by important magazines and international publications.

Victor Viña. Industrial designer specialized in new technologies. He develops teaching and research work in various institutions. He has taught workshops in European and Latin American universities and is working on developing the facility Hyperhabitat presented at the Venice Biennial of Architecture in 2008.

Walking Chair. Studio formed by Karl Emilio Pircher and Fidel Peugeot. They work on architecture, design products, graphical and fonts. They say that they exhibit and sell products, and other objects of design, which touch “heart and humour “. In 2006 “Walking Things” was born to develop their more outstanding products of design and they opened their design studio - gallery in the heart of Vienna.

Xènia Viladàs. Independent consultant specializing in design management, her work is to help companies and institutions to use the design effectively, profitably and in line with its corporate strategy. She combines this activity with classes, conferences and books on the subject, the latter of which is “Diseño rentable” (Cost effective design).

Francisco Javier Fariña. He is a self-taught craftsman from La Oratava, specialized in the elaboration of “timples” (canary guitar), with a professional career of more than 25 years. His work is based on the search of the instruments that better satisfy the needs and demands of the different types of “timplistas” (timple musicians).

HUNK - design & ID Eddy. HUNK - design & ID Eddy HUNK-design is small office run by architect Bart Cardinaal and designer Nadine Roos with a broad professional interest. ID Eddy is Eddy Kaijser, a multidisciplinary artist. HUNK - design & ID Eddy, going together to create The Flying Grass Carpet, that it is a beautiful green garden-carpet that will fly from one location to another, staying on each location only for a short period of time. Once it is has landed it will function as a public park.
