After the design explosion of the inaugural edition, it returns to the island Tenerife Design Festival from 15 to 23 October 2010.

A working year to develop a new quality program, from the philosophy that drove the initial idea and it’s fed by experiences of the first TDF. A prestigious event that could show the design as a tool for change and communication, an element for products development, projects and creative ideas. They are, definitely, the cultural and economic promoters we need.

A new feature this year is the area TDFLow Island, drawing together several activities, which are in TENO 2015 project, developed by Cabildo Insular of Tenerife and It´s co-funded (75 per cent) by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Our Low Island will live a new golden age with TDF, which it will be continued, thanks to the viability of ad hoc actions we prepare.

Actions, urban interventions, experimentation, workshops and a new AWARD which is already warming up to make this new edition a point of reference for exchanges, development and creation.

And of course! PechaKucha Night Tenerife, we go for volume 4. This original concept of showcasing and networking among creators has had great success in its previously. On October 22 at 20:00 at TEA, the 20 x 20 of creativity is back.
*Just for beginners: Tenerife Design Festival thinks of design in terms of innovation, as a result of three main points we can find through the five areas: local identity, landscaping contrats and tourism. Those questions are the most important beginning to foster a synergy between local agents and international proposals, making design as a tool for changes and a boost for aconomy.
