SYMPOSIUM

In TDF Solution over 200 people attended lectures given by some of the most relevant figures in the design world discussing topics from the project itself to its management and profitability.

The intention of this area was to reach not only designers and professionals, but also those who are in management and who see design as an economic driving force. This theme was developed in the symposium “The profitability of design” with speakers like : Xènia Viladàs,Pierluigi Cattermole and Renate Schepen.

Furthermore, with the presence of the Campana Brothers, patrons of the Festival, the best example possible was given of how international and local design are not in conflict with each other, but to the contrary can and should be merged.

Martín Ruiz de Azúa in his lecture brought the public closer to nature, tourism and local identity, characteristic elements of the islands and which are key to the world of design.

TDFSolution managed to give a vision of the new trends in the current design scene based on sustainability and identity; these are the keys for future creative projects on the islands.
