losiento1 SEGUNDA OPORTUNIDAD. Diseño de producto.A cargo de Luis Eslava. TEA. 55€

A revival of the objects! In this workshop taught by Luis Eslava, we will rescue traditional “island-objects” and give them a second chance. We will work on this method, which can help us exercise our creativity, incorporating it as usual in our day to day. It is questioning the product life and ask whether the use we give to things is the only true, whether as are determined and work well if they meet our needs.

losientio PAPA DON´T PREACH. Diseño tipográfico.A cargo LoSiento. TEA.55€

Re_do. Revisando Tramas Urbanas

Bienal de Canarias, ULL y TDF.

Do we re-think the space? Both in times of economic stagnation, as in the growth (and more in the latter), multiply the empty spaces of use and content (whether solar or abandoned buildings). Spaces that are so outdated, with symptoms of stiffness, in relation to the new demands for use of the population. This workshop aims to be an approach to analyzing these dissonances by the incentive of contemporary design. The methodology will take place from field work, organized through a “safari” for a significant metropolitan area in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to locate these cracks urban site. Later in the workshop, catalog and study the information gathered by the work of four multidisciplinary teams to collaborate on a cross. These are responsible for documentation and archiving of these pathologies found in the selected area, as well as the development of proposals for intervention, use or re-consideration of such spaces.
